Stuck inside the mental hospital for six months? Heres what to do.

Surviving six months of lockdown rehab does not have to be a bad thing. Since Im leaving today, the exact day my six month ends I wanted to give back a bit of insight on how things go.

This is not to counter anything the staff or the doctor tells you to do but more of a general talk on what I observed, during my six month stay.

It's not as bad as you think.

Mental hospitals get a bad reputation for being a place where crazy people are thrown in on lock down. As I experienced it's better not to even think that way, because impatience aimed at that direction will be no good for the six months.

And it's better to focus the energy on finding the opportunities ahead of you. Now there are ample time, explore and find things that may help you on your journey, and space to learn about yourself.

Time and space

Theres thousands of hours now hopefully freely available towards recovery. Depending on what level of recovery your reading this, you hopefully have started taking advantage of that area as you have already found out. I during that time, started journaling and taking notes of things I think about, daily.

Focus on recovery

While I recovered greatly, I attribute it to both talking to the doctor and taking my life situation more seriously as much as i could. Times when I hav less focus shows me I had much to learn and when I focus too much on one thing, I realized what it looked like and adjusted also.

I am moving onwards with life and now I'm outside. Its like a 6 month tutorial and trial and I passed on specifically the day of. Now I am working towards my digital marketing certification and on my entrepreneurship journey.
